UNR Early Childhood Autism Program

The UNR Early Childhood Autism Program retired in June of 2020 after 25 years in operation.  The program specialized in early intensive Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy for young children with autism. It was a comprehensive, individualized treatment program that emphasized the child’s development in the areas of language, communication, socialization, and personal behavior. With it’s connection to UNR, the program served as a training site for university students involved in the science and practice of treating children with autism.
