e Sierra Kids Foundation is a local non-profit organization formed in 2004 to benefit families enrolled in the Early Childhood Autism Program at the University of Nevada, Reno (UNR).
We are dedicated to improving the lives of families with a young child with autism. The Foundation provides financial assistance to eligible families to help pay for all or a portion of the cost of an early childhood autism treatment program. Scholarship amounts vary depending upon the type and duration of services provided.
In 2020, the Sierra Kids Foundation expanded it’s outreach to help kids and families enrolled in or seeking enrollment in one of three outstanding, local programs:
In 2022, the Sierra Kids Foundation expanded it’s outreach once again to include families enrolled at Spectrum Learning Center, through the University of Nevada.
